Right to Access Nepal (RAN), and David Mundal, an energetic and active team, has completed and important and result oriented programs recently in four districts of Nepal: Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Nuwakot and Makawanpur. Under which, three programs: awareness program against girls and women trafficking, awareness program against women violence, and awareness program about the importance of the child education. The programs has resulted a list of positive impacts. The women are now committed to raise their voice and choice. Through the group, they are now conducting awareness about what they learned in the program. Child activities such as child development, child involvement, child protection, etc. have increased in the target village.
Those are explored after our post program monitoring and evaluation visit. We learned that our working model has applied for a reasonable engagement of a child in important decision makings of a family. This shows a little effort, time and money also can change a huge for the progress. The important aspects of the outcomes are team work, collaboration, determination toward work, and love and belief of community for us. We wise our collaboration, development works would be more sustainable. David Mundal, Norway, is also a part of this outcome. We respect his helpful emotion, pure heart, and wise altitude.
Just like David Mundal, Norway, we are trying to add such activities in the rural and deprived community of Nepal with the financial support of national and international communities. We are planning for collaboration with Universal Freedom Society, Norway for a community based program targeting 'early grad children' very soon. For this, Knut Arild Hanstad and Hariet Fagerholm from Norway are working with us. The anticipated collaboration has energized us.
