A child's smile is one of life's greatest blessings.
We are greatly thankful for Ms. Algrid Hillmer from Germany, who donates a significant contribution to our Clothes Distribution Programme. The program has distributed clothes to 15 children from the deprived community of Damai Tole, Nankhel Bhaktpur District, in the initial phase. The community is the most disadvantaged, pro-poor, and belongs to the Dalit community, the most socially excluded community of Nepal.
The Children are smiling after the massive destruction of the earthquake that has lost home and family members.
If you have a kind heart like Ms. Himller and want to help in this effort, you are welcome to participate.

The world has a lot of kind and philanthropic people who always help poor children and women in either of ways. Among the people, David Mundal from Norway is one who helped poor, earthquake victimized, and marginalized children of Dukuchhap Lalitpur. On the other hand, he also supported a women empowerment program conducted for mothers those children have dropped out from school. The aim was to empower them about the importance of education.
The children will never forget the help from David Mundal.
Now, all the mothers from Dukuchhap have promised that they will send their children to school for their bright future.
From the side of Right to Access Nepal, I would like to thank David, who is also my very good friend. Similarly, thanks to all the children and women participating in the program.
The collaborative programs done by the team of Right to Access Nepal (RAN) have succeeded in Dukuchhap VDC, Lalitpur. The local resident and program coordinator Ujeli Danuwar said, "The educational material distribution program and awareness program in importance of education have made children, who had dropped out permanently, admitted again for the school.
The objectives of the program were to form a women's group to do counselling for the dropped-out children and parents to join school again. Ujeli Danuwar, coordinator of the women's group, said again, "The group is now empowered to fight against the women violence in the community". For this success, we would like to thank David Mundal and Ambika Kaudal, who supported the program financially. Furthermore, our team is always ready for such collaboration and work for the slogan "Education for All".
This proves that because of poverty and lack of awareness, children are not going to school. Now, our team is working on a livelihood support program for such poor parents. If you are interested in supporting such a program, you are requested to join our efforts.
